She was employed for over 30 years in Human Services, most recently as the Human Resource Director of a non-profit agency that served people with disabilities. She is also a certified crisis counselor, a Christian counselor, and is a member of the United Way Community Services Speakers Bureau. She has served in many capacities on several community Boards, continues to be a liaison and advocate on committees for people with disabilities, and provides consultation services for agencies and individuals.

Pastor Faulkner is a woman of vision and determination. An ardent advocate of Missions and Outreach, she began her own ministry, Spirit Filled Ministries over 10 years ago in order to provide guidance, support, and services to assist hurting women.

Active in church work all of her life, she was a licensed Evangelist  and Missionary in the Church of God In Christ (C.O.G.I.C.) for over 25 years, and has served as Jurisdictional President of the Missionary Alliance, Southwest Michigan #1, as well as a district and local worker in Christian Education, Outreach Ministries, Young Women’s Ministries, Sunday School  and Youth Ministries.

In July 2001 she finally accepted her predestined call to pastor a church and Spirit Filled Ministries Church was born. In keeping with her original focus of outreach, the mission of the church is to Exalt the Savior, to Equip the Saints and to Evangelize the Sinner.

Spirit Filled Ministries currently serves the community in the following areas: Men’s Ministry, Women’s Ministry, HELPS Ministry, Educational Ministries, Youth Ministry and Outreach Ministry. 

Most importantly, Pastor Faulkner is a praying, saved, sanctified, Holy Ghost filled woman, who loves God and His people.
